Name: Rocky Jenkins
Sex: Male
Age: 17
Bio: Rocky is a teenage boy whose temperament was loosely based on my sister as she was at the time, back in 2005. Due to my inability to draw a decent looking person, he mostly appears in unpublished stories. Rocky is a short little firecracker of a boy with a vicious temper. When embarrassed, he's often quick to snap and regret his words later. He also shows abandonment issues, forming attachments to very few individuals and those few are ones he'd nearly give his life to protect. He is guarded and tries to give the impression he is largely emotionless, but in private, he is quite soft-hearted.
Bio: Rocky's story is troubled. As a young boy, his world was filled with yelling and quarreling. His parents did not get along, and most of his childhood years were memories of them fighting. His mother did not neglect him, she did her best to provide for him and care for his basic needs. When he was 10 years old, he woke up one morning to find the house silent and his father gone. His mother was crying. Nine months later, his younger brother Theo was born.
Rocky resented Theo's intrusion at first, because his birth coincided with a time when his life was complete and utter hell. Being a twig thin stick of a boy, Rocky's middle school years were utterly miserable with bullies. His mother was oblivious to this, trying desperately to hold the tiny family together and keep Theo fed and a roof over their heads. Rocky was desperately alone and afraid. He'd loved to write ever since he was little, but this was the time when he really began to turn to it, and to his recently learned love of poetry, as a means of escape.
When the constant bullying eventually culminated in his getting beat up, Rocky transferred to a different school, and with a different attitude. No one would ever best him again. No bully would ever push him around. He walked through the doors of his new high school a completely different person. This was the Rocky Jenkins that Jin and company eventually came to know and befriend, the tough, hard-as-nails boy who didn't take crap from anyone and was willing to punch you in the face to prove it.
He became the unwitting love interest of his neighbor, a girl named Candy, during his struggle through middle school. When the two ended up in the same high school later on, she later introduced him to a soft-spoken girl named Angel McCloud, who became his best friend and later girlfriend.
