Name: Stickers aka Phoenix
Sex: Male
Parents: Diamond and Dazzle
Siblings: Cassandra, Winter
VA: Dee Bradley Baker
Bio: Phoenix was one of a litter of puppies rescued from a bad breeder/hoarder. He suffered deplorable conditions and a great number of his siblings had died before he and his parents were rescued by animal police. The surviving pups, Phoenix, Cassandra, and Winter, along with their parents, were given over to Roger and Anita Dearly, of the Dearly farm. Roger gave Phoenix the name Stickers for his spots, which to him look like funny little glittery stickers. Hating the name, however, the pup gave himself the name Phoenix instead, thinking it far more noble and proud. His real name is a heavily guarded secret.
Another heavily guarded secret Phoenix keeps to himself is that most of his colorful spots are painted on. The only real spots he possesses are the black spots on his ears, and the rest have yet to come in. Feeling further self-conscious for his slowly-developing spots, he gave himself a number of bright, sparkly spots, that he is quite proud of. He also likes to flaunt his gold collar around and say it's made of real gold, although it's actually an old flea collar covered with glitter.
Phoenix puts on a very convincing show of being full of himself and overconfident. What most don't know however, is that he actually suffers from severe low self-esteem due to his horrible beginnings, and is embarrassed by it. He would rather others think he is filthy rich and better than everyone else, and so is constantly telling lies about his origin, and being from a filthy rich family. Because of his attitude and tendency to lie, however, most of the other puppies don't want much to do with him.
He became part of Duke's gang because of Princess. Princess became interested in him because of his lies about being noble and rich, but when she found out the truth, she dropped him like a hot potato. He still likes to tag along with them though, thinking them the type he would like to be, and that is rich and powerful. Princess learns to tolerate him, if only because she sees potential in him as a servant, and Duke often treats him like a lackey. Phoenix is only too happy to do so however, thinking that it might serve him well if the pair ever does take over the farm. When they do, by proxy, Phoenix will also be powerful and rich.
He becomes Shelby's companion as well, when someone suggests he teach the younger pup finesse. Shelby really comes to admire Phoenix and think him cool, and Phoenix tries his hardest to live up to the ideal, but he can't keep it up forever. Eventually, he comes clean to Shelby about everything, including his origins.
